John recently left EY after working as a Senior Manager in their Fraud and Investigative Dispute Services division. In that capacity he conducted internal audits into fraud, bribery and corruption; provided oversight and consultation to financial institutions on their financial crimes and anti fraud programs; and conducted investigations Prior to that, John worked as a Supervisory Special Agent at the FBI for 31 years where he led and conducted high profile complex investigations of international scope. John spearheaded Terrorism Finance investigations successfully targeting and prosecuting Al Qaeda and other Internationally Designated Terrorist Organizations. He headed an Organized Crime Task Force leading multifaceted enterprise investigations into Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organizations (RICO), and other financial crimes. John’s initial assignment in the FBI was conducting investigations into fraud against the government, embezzlement, check kiting, fraudulent lending and other white collar violations. John is the recipient of two United States Attorney General Awards for Excellence in Investigation and Law Enforcement. Prior to working with the FBI, John worked for a public accounting firm and a large bank. John is a CPA and Chair of the NYS Society AML CT Finance Committee. He holds a M.S. Degree in Management Information Systems and a B.S. in Accounting.
