During this developmental phase, Charles and his team engaged in thousands of conversations with professionals from accounting and law firms, collecting critical insights that have shaped industry standards and best practices. Charles previously served as a managing partner at Diode Capital, a venture capital fund focused on emerging technologies, which continues to inform his work; he remains an active member of their investment board. At Diode, Charles applied his prior management expertise from overseeing fund and family office operations and directing engineering teams. Over the prior decade, Charles has managed engineering teams to design and implement cutting-edge technology solutions across various industries, including real estate, telecom, decentralized databases, and AML/KYC compliance - the latter of which placed the Corporate Transparency Act on his radar in early 2022. When away from the demands of technology, Charles unwinds in Florida, where he relishes quality time playing tennis or enjoying the outdoors with his wife and three sons.
