Joseph Milizio is the Managing Partner of Vishnick McGovern Milizio LLP. He leads the firm’s Business and Transactional Law, Real Estate, Exit & Succession Planning for Business Owners, LGBTQ Representation, and Surrogacy, Adoption, and Assisted Reproduction practices. Mr. Milizio represents start-up and established businesses, providing day-to-day general counsel and advice. He has significant experience in various areas of transactional law with an emphasis on business transactions, including acquisitions, sales, entity and owner representation, franchising, leasing, and transactional real estate matters. He represents a wide range of businesses, including retailers, manufacturers, real estate entities, healthcare providers, and other professional industries and organizations.

Morris Sabbagh is a partner in Vishnick McGovern Milizio LLP’s Wills, Trusts, and Estates, Trust and Estate Planning, and Elder Law practices. He focuses on assisting families with the preservation of wealth and administration of estates and trusts and works with high-net-worth individuals to prevent the dissipation of assets to taxes, creditors, and long-term care expenses. Mr. Sabbagh’s extensive experience includes planning for gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes, business succession, marital issues, creditor and asset protection, and public benefits and elder law issues.

Steven Goodman is passionate about providing insightful solutions to the challenges of business succession, wealth preservation and charitable planning, focusing on the needs of owners of closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. As a CPA and former VP of the Trust and Investment Division of JP Morgan Chase, he’s served hundreds of estate planning clients for over 30 years. He also holds an MBA from Fordham University and was a supervisor for KPMG Peat Marwick. Steve is also an accomplished speaker and has presented to major CPA Firms, Law Firms, Financial Planning & Trade Associations on topics such as efficient business succession, estate planning issues and tax strategies. He lives in Brookville, LI with his wife, Helane, and has two grown children. He frequently contributes to charities that provide education for underprivileged children. and has personally seen to the higher education of less fortunate youths. In his spare time he’s a reader.
