Catherine is co-founder of Censullo, Gupta & Associates, CPA, LLP since 2018. A tax and financial professional with over 30 years of experience, she has provided her clients with a wide variety of compliance, planning, consulting, auditing and accounting services. She has ten years of experience serving on various not-for-profit Board of Directors. She previously served as a sole proprietor after working for over 10 years for AT&T. She served on an executive level task force for the divestiture of AT&T from its regional Bell companies, including CEO level meetings. After working for a local accounting firm, she became a sole proprietor, during which she served in various leadership roles in the NYS Society of CPAs for the local Westchester Chapter, as chair of the statewide Personal Financial Planning Committee, and for a term as a Director on the statewide Board of Directors.Her experience encompasses everything from not-for-profit audits for an international religious organization to analysis of internal controls, accounting, business planning, estate planning, financial planning, retirement planning, domestic and international tax planning and compliance. She has worked with high-net-worth individuals, small to medium-sized businesses, trusts and estates, and not-for-profit entities in a variety of roles. She has been studying extensively with Ed Slott?s Master Elite IRA group for 20 years to keep up to date on the complex IRA distribution rules, helping to resolve penalty abatement issues with missed Required Minimum Distributions for retired individuals, estates and trusts. She helps clients sort out IRA issues and actively works with them to plan their retirement distribution strategies.
