Amy L. Dalen, JD is a Principal, the National Tax Director, and the Leader of the Private Client Services Center of Excellence at HBK CPAs & Consultants. She is located in Naples, Florida.Amy specializes in estate, gift, trust, individual, and nonprofit taxation. She is skilled at researching complicated tax issues, consulting on complex estate plans, and providing guidance for our clients to ensure they are in compliance with their tax filing responsibilities. Amy enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for tax planning with clients and other professionals. She is a frequent speaker at bar association and estate planning council events and has authored many articles discussing tax planning techniques and compliance issues. In her role as National Tax Director and Leader of the Private Client Services Center of Excellence, she engages in complicated tax planning and consulting services for our clients, provides tax training to our team members, and oversees the firm?s compliance with tax policies to mitigate risk for the firm. Amy attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and completed a secondary major in Sociology: Criminal Justice. She then went on to attend law school at the University of Maine School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor degree. Amy is currently a licensed member of the Florida, Maine, and Massachusetts State Bars. She is also a member of the Collier County Bar Association, Collier County Women?s Bar Association, Estate Planning Council of Naples, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
