awrence C. Lucarelli has been with the Firm since 1989. He was promoted to Principal in 2006 and was welcomed as a member of the Partner Team in 2015. Mr. Lucarelli has extensive experience in corporate, individual and partnership income taxation. Tax services include corporate and individual income tax planning, estate and gift tax planning, tax research, tax return review and compliance. Mr. Lucarelli has extensive experience in handling tax examinations: both income and sales tax audits. He advises clients in connection with corporate operations and reorganizations, sales and acquisition of businesses, corporate distributions, partnership transactions, real estate operations and estate planning. He also advises not-for-profit organizations in connection with their compliance issues and tax exempt status. Mr. Lucarelli has provided tax services to clients in diverse industries, from engineering, distribution and manufacturing to construction and food services. In addition, Mr. Lucarelli has lectured on various taxation issues and published articles for financial and local publications. Mr. Lucarelli is a past President of the Suffolk Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA); he has previously served on the Executive Board and as the chair of the Small Business Committee. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Institute of Certified Financial Planners (ICFP). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State (CPA) and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP?).
