Jorge Maymir, Computer and Software Engineer, recently retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 20 years of service, all dedicated to examining taxpayer?s requests for Research and Experimentation (R&E) tax credit. Specialist in the requirements for qualification for tax credit when taxpayers seek to claim expenses incurred on projects concerning Internal Use Software.

Frank Udiskey recently retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 34 years of dedicated service. For the past 15 years, he served as a Statistical Sampling Coordinator, where he was responsible for reviewing taxpayer samples to ensure compliance with Revenue Procedure 11-42. His work primarily focused on Research and Development credits and asset-related sampling issues, including Cost Segregation, Capital vs. Repair studies, Qualified Improvement Property (QIP), and Bonus Depreciation analyses. In this role, Frank also advised examination teams nationwide on the design and implementation of statistically valid samples as part of the audit process. He also taught sampling techniques to agents within the Large Business & International (LB&I) Division. Before specializing in sampling, Frank held positions as a Revenue Agent and Computer Audit Specialist. Prior to joining the IRS, he gained experience in both public and private sectors, working in public accounting, as an internal auditor for a large international advertising firm, and as controller for a medium-sized marketing company. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University and is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Connecticut. He is also an avid runner competing 11 marathons.
